St. Peter’s Summer Bible Study
This summer, the Bible Study will Start at the Very Beginning (which is a very good place to start) and take a Jog through Genesis. Over the course of seven sessions, the group will examine a Biblical book that we think we know, but really don’t. We’ll examine the role and meaning of myth, learn about the people who wrote and read the texts, and discover what these ancient stories hold for us today. The tentative schedule and topics include:
June 7 – Introduction to Genesis
June 21 – Creation
July 5 – The First Sins
July 19 – Noah and the Flood
August 2 – Abraham and Hagar
August 16 – Jacob and Esau
August 30 – Joseph into Egypt
Each session will be at 7 PM in the Parish Hall. Please plan to join us.

St. Paul said “ Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”
On First Sunday of each month we will collect non-perishable goods for St.Peter’s Full Tummys Food Ministry.
Jesus asks you to put your faith into action…everyone in the parish is invited to bring in non-perishable food donations to St. Peter’s on the first Sunday of every month. We ask that everyone to come to the altar and place the non-perishable food donations at the altar. We look forward to the whole parish participating.
We will distribute this bounty to the needy in the greater Rochester community. Our partner in food distribution will be RHAFT.
Jesus said… “ I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me.”
